VALDO PRESENTS ITS FIRST PROSECCO ROSÉ: ORO PURO BRUT SINGLE-VINTAGE

Prosecco is the most popular sparkling wine globally, from Germany to the USA via the UK. October 2020 is an important date for the precious bubbly, a historic revolution. Given the great appeal of rosé sparkling wines, for the first time the Prosecco DOC Consortium, with an extension of its specifications, has authorised the production of Prosecco DOC rosé single-vintage thanks to the vinification of Pinot Noir.

Valdo, the market leader in Prosecco and Italy's best sparkling wine producer (Berliner Wine Trophy award - February 2020) also presented its version. The historic Oro Puro label is tinged with pink and Oro Puro Prosecco Doc Rosé is born. A Brut, single-vintage sparkling wine with an elegant perlage where Glera meets the best Pinot Noir grapes (about 10%) cultivated in the Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia areas since the second half of the 19th century. The colour is silky pink, the foam is long-lasting, the aromas are inviting and reminiscent of apple and small red fruits. The flavour is delicate, rich in fruity sensations, pleasantly harmonious and with a long finish. It is a bubbly wine to be served chilled (between 4°-6°), ideal as an aperitif or perfect with white fish and Mediterranean salads.

The bottle itself is a tale of elegance. The black of the bottle capsule and the transparency of the glass highlight the marvellous rosy hue of Prosecco; the label is inspired by Venetian lace, a precious tradition of the Venetian Lagoon, an ancient Italian craftsmanship, a symbol of dedication and skill, synonymous with excellence throughout the world, just like the cultivation of Prosecco, an ancient art that is the result of man's skilful work and passion, another excellence of Veneto know-how.

For almost a century, Valdo has been passionately producing Prosecco and Spumante, the highest expression of quality and oenological know-how, the result of its ability to combine tradition with innovation through a clear entrepreneurial vision and the ability to understand new consumer trends and interpret them according to its own oenological style.
With this philosophy the company has travelled all over the world, helping to spread the culture of Prosecco and the Italian lifestyle, Valdo Oro Puro Prosecco Rosé is the expression of all these extraordinary values.
